I had been looking for a particular Tacoma. The off-road with premium package in red. After visiting a local dealer in my area and feeling mislead, I decided to expand to other areas. Doug from Coggins and I exchanged a few text messages and we agreed on a price which I believed to be fair. The issue left to do was negotiating the trade in value for my 2010 tacoma off road with 248,870 miles on it. i took the opportunity to stop by and see Doug during a trip to the area figuring that if a deal was made, if not, then i lost few hours. Meeting with Doug was a pleasure, I test drove the truck I was intending to buy and looked at other trucks the dealer had in stock. An offer was made for my truck and a final price was negotiated. Actually my price was accepted and the negotiations were little. in conclusion the final cost of the whole deal was much less than the hard fought for deal I had negotiated at the local area dealer. We signed papers and I drove off in my new bright red Tacoma off road with premium packed, happy as could be. In conclusion the best part was that there was no sales pressure, no apparent misleading statements, and no misleading information. It was a pleasure doing business there, well worth the side trip and the time.
