The staff there are very helpful and friendly. The service department is great. I only live 4 miles from one of the biggest Toyota dealers in the Capital District of Albany but I find that Coggins makes it very well worth my while to drive over to Bennington, Vermont to check out their deals. I have purchased 3 new cars from them and fully intend to go back.

This is the first time I have ever written an on-line review for anything. I'm old school and have always chosen to have a quick conversation with the owner or manager when necessary. I am here today, writing a positive review for Coggins Toyota in Bennington, VT. Quick self-summary: I hate shopping, it makes me anxious and I truly do not enjoy shopping for anything. Last Thursday, 10-3-2024, I went to Coggins for my second complimentary oil change. I was also there to have them follow up on a persistent TPMS issue which came with the used Tacoma I purchased in February. After what felt like a thousand hours, Jamie came to inform me of the situation. She quickly recognized just how uncomfortable I was and immediately jumped into action. I told her I wanted to go home and in less than 10 minutes she did the following: 1-Had the mechanics finish up and get my truck ready to go & 2-Got the extended warranty paperwork from the glove box and told me she would call Allstate to see if they would cover the 2 TPMS sensors I needed replaced. This by itself instantly made me feel less agitated and scared. I left Coggins feeling pretty good about my experience due solely to how great she was. Today, Monday, 10-7-2024, I received a call from her at work. She told me she got Allstate to cover the TPMS sensors, ordered the parts and that she will call me to schedule the work once the parts arrive. I was not expecting her to follow through with this at all and was absolutely floored when I received the call. Shopping, especially for vehicles, and all the maintenance that comes with vehicles, is a necessary evil in today's modern world. Having people like Jamie who truly cared about my comfort level while I was at Coggins made the process a lot less miserable. Jamie, thank you for your help, compassion and follow through. I am grateful for all that you did. The fact that we have the same favorite color didn't hurt either!

Jon was amazing! I went in just to talk options but wasn’t expecting good news because I had other dealerships turn me away. Jon didn’t push a sale, he gave me straight answers and explained everything going on. He asked is questions on what we were looking for. When he handed us the key for test drive time its like he had known us for years. We ended up signing for our truck the next day! Such a down to earth guy who you could have an actual conversation with and not feel like he’s rushing you. 100% recommend going to even talk options with him.

We initially stopped at the dealership and talked with Steve about a Honda CRV Hybrid. We test drove one, but weren’t really sold on it. We also wanted to drive a Highlander hybrid and a Crown Signia. The only Highlander on the lot was a used one, but Steve had us test drive it. We liked the size better, but Steve explained that they are very hard to get. The following Monday morning, Steve called us and said they had a Highlander available and a Crown Signia that we could drive. We drove both and settled on the Highlander hybrid. It was a pleasure working with Steve throughout the entire process. He was not at all pushy and was very patient with us during our decision making. We would definitely recommend Steve to anyone.

I shopped around at multiple dealers before proceeding with Coggins. They had the most competitive prices, beating other dealerships in the area by about $2,000 on a 2024 4Runner. Overall, I’m super happy with this buy and the service provided.
